All igniters fit into a burner housing that has only a few variations. Therefore the universal brackets and spacers can be used in a simple series of combinations to replace many types of the most commonly used hot surface igniter.

Visually check your igniter and cross reference with these diagrams to identify the correct fitting configuration.

5. Fit the igniter to the appliance using screws provided.

6. Attach the wires from the appliance onto the igniter, by twisting the bared ends together, matching one wire from the igniter, to one wire from the controller.

7. Take the wire nuts provided and screw down tight over the joined bare wires, ensuring that no bare wires are showing.

8. Check installation is secure and safe, routing leads away from the burner.
