Universal
Replacement Silicon Nitride Igniter Fitted to:
3 Trane units, 2 Intercity
(Heil) and 1 Carrier
This is what Bob and Ed had to say
All at B & E Mechanical were surprised at how easy the
igniter was to fit (normally 10 minutes). None of them needed
to use the instruction booklet. During December 2003 Bob Jones
fitted a replacement igniter to his own boiler (Trane), just
to monitor its operation. As with all the extensive testing
that has been undertaken during research and development,
Bob reports 'no problems'.
Bob
was especially pleased with its robustness. During one of
the installations, he actually 'dropped the part, and it didn't
break'. The biggest comment from Bob was that they 'did not
need kid gloves to handle the igniter during installation'
or transportation, 'throw it in the back of the truck and
go'.

'Is this thing hot or what? (It should be, it's a hot surface
igniter) This new Universal igniter replaces over 100 models
currently sold in the market today. Made of Silicon Nitride
this igniter is durable, non-porous and will last longer.
Ideal for Contractors because now when they diagnose an igniter
failure on the job they don't have to run to the wholesaler
to get an igniter, instead they go and get one from their
truck. And remember, Contractors can only bill for the time
on the job, not for the time they spend chasing down parts.
Bottom line, Contractors will be more efficient and profitable
when using the igniter from Igniters Direct'.

is what Metropac tell their customers
Over time many part numbers for igniters have been generated,
most refer to the same igniter, but with the modification
of extra lead lengths and so on. All igniters fit into a burner
housing that has only a few variations. Therefore the universal
bracket kit can be used in a simple series of combinations
to replace over 100 types of the most commonly used hot surface
igniter.

Been using 2d1 white rodgers igniter I thought that was the
best of em all until I found glo-stix.
I have talked to several reps about making something that
is simple and tech friendly for about 3 years now since the
first white rodgers igniter kit come out but no luck.
Keep up the good work and I hope that I keep making money
because of your inovative products.
